Royal Danish Spoon Ring (1939)
The International Sterling Co. introduced the Royal Danish pattern in 1939. It features a fluted column, bold lines, and above all, symmetry. It is delicate, yet commands it's presence known. The tiny eyelet cut out at the top of the spire of the column gives the ring depth and contrast.
This ring is made from the entire demitasse spoon with the handle curling around the bowl.
The inside of the ring is labelled, U.S.A, Royal Danish, International Sterling.
Flatware (well in this case "round ware") is the modern 5th wedding anniversary gift!
This is not a reproduction but an original piece.
